This valuable new asset for an independent school delivers on the client’s request for a highly durable, low-maintenance building to stand the test of time – and teens. It is a calm environment, accentuated by excellent natural ventilation, acoustics and warm timber accents. As befits a gymnasium, the building is robust but, thanks to the planning of flexible ancillary spaces for physical training, education and hospitality, it is also considerate of the needs of the community groups who will also benefit from the building.
