This project completes a complex of distinctive, modern waterfront apartments, beginning with ‘The Point’ apartments, themselves gaining award recognition in 2001. Significantly different, but comfortably familiar, there is a natural co-existence between the two buildings. Bold materials, an open entry atrium and carefully planned interiors optimise appeal and space. The landscaped courtyard provides a controlled outlook and oasis from the high-activity streets behind. The architects and their client are commended for a strong contemporary approach in developing an urban apartment typology.
