MARKETING & OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

MODE is a fast growing, award winning and design focused multi-disciplinary practice, with nine studios across Australia and New Zealand. The practice employs over 130 talented designers across architecture, urban design, master planning, interior design, landscape architecture and graphic design.

ROLE OVERVIEW
In order to meet the current and projected needs of the business, MODE is seeking a Marketing/ Operations & Administration Officer for our busy Auckland Studio.
This is a newly created position and will report to the Studio Director. It is envisaged that the successful person will work Monday – Friday: 20 hours per week.
The successful candidate’s primary function will be to support the Auckland Studio and greater business with coordinating submissions, providing administrative business support, assist with billing and event coordination and other duties will include:
• Download and disseminate tender documentation, then prepare submissions for review by senior staff
• Ensure adequate stockpile of marketing collateral and resources are available
• Updating the CRM with project information
• Update CRM with project information
• Assist the Studio in completing monthly QA audits and quarterly OHS audits
• General office housekeeping
• Development of other marketing and sales collateral and the coordination of local events and other business development as require

ABOUT YOU
Available for an immediate start, you will be team-orientated, proactive and display a strong work ethic with 3 + years in a similar position. The successful candidate will also bring:
• High level of client focus – the solution, on time, every time
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and customer focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write proposals and influence outcomes
• Initiative, accountability and responsibility
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS6) – (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Highly confident and proactive
• Works well within a team environment
• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
• Eye for detail
