Designgroup Stapleton Elliott (DGSE) is a national award winning architectural design led practice with six studios across New Zealand.We specialise in a wide range of work delivering design excellence in projects ranging from urban regeneration, master planning, public buildings, commercial buildings, education and housing. We are seeking a passionate all rounder who is either a Registered Architect, an Experienced Architectural Graduate or a recently qualified Architectural Graduate to join our exciting new Queenstown Design Studio.
Ideal Attributes for Project Architect and Experienced Architectural Graduate:
- 6 years plus of Architectural Graduate experience or Registered Architect
- Self-sufficient and able to encourage and teach less experienced staff
- Creative, innovative and collaborative, with an excellent design ability
- A track record of taking projects from inception to completion
- Excellent communication skills, and proven ability to liaise effectively with Team Members, Clients, Consultants, Contractors and Territorial Authorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Quick and adaptable learner
- Proven technical capabilities
- In depth knowledge of the NZ construction, NZBC, NZ Standards and regulations.
Key Skills & Qualifications for Project Architect and Experienced Architectural Graduate:
- Masters of Architecture
- Site Experience
- Strong Revit knowledge
- Good knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Experience in Lumion would be an advantage, but not a prerequisite
