From sponsorship to volunteering, New Zealand’s involvement in the 2016 Venice Architecture Bienalle provides multiple opportunities for engagement and exposure.

Our first experience of Venice in 2014 revealed all the Biennale has to offer potential partners, both in Venice itself and here in New Zealand: brand exposure to existing and overseas clients, event and hosting opportunities at the venue, guided tours of Venice and its architecture, leadership positioning as supporters of New Zealand architecture and many more options to engage clients and associates.
Our partners will feature prominently in the event collateral: the must-have official catalogue, and a consumer-facing publication for wider distribution, meaning that the construction industry, the architecture and design schools at universities, local and central government planning and building departments, specialist and general media and the many thousands of New Zealanders with an interest in architecture will all take note.

The Architecture Biennale is a unique event and a great reason – on top of all the others – to visit Venice. 2016 offers an opportunity to not just see the Biennale but to experience it close up. We invite you to be there with us as like-minded people as we launch our official exhibition, Future Islands.

Volunteer
The New Zealand Institute of Architects is now calling for expressions of interest for volunteers to act as attendants and assist with the supervision of New Zealand’s exhibition in Venice from late May to the end of November 2016. Assignments will be for periods of approximately two to three weeks and accommodation will be provided for that time. The role is a voluntary one and attendants will be required to cover the cost of return travel to Venice.
