A large 15-storey office building on a prominent corner site has been treated as two separate buildings, a strategy that has resulted in a more elegant and humanly scaled architecture. One main elevation addresses the railway station with a bold, dark, louvre-clad façade, creating a vertical emphasis. In contrast, a façade of delicate white glazing set within deep horizontal recesses wraps around the other main elevation.
