A rundown house once stood on this narrow section which is now home to a striking monochromatic structure. While compact, the house gives the impression of being much larger than it is, thanks to an internal courtyard and very open living spaces with stunning views over Dunedin and the harbour. The project’s success is even more impressive given that the house was built to a tight budget. Throughout the house, the detailing is thoughtful and consistent.
