This crib is made up of compact but generous spaces organised around a simple and clear layout. Strong visual connections through the living areas create a sense of openness, while covered outdoor spaces extend the living areas outside. A strong connection to the neighbouring reserve was a key part of the design approach. The carefully chosen building level balances openness to the reserve with privacy from neighbouring properties below. A fireplace set within a glazed gable anchors the main living space, while subtle detailing strengthens the overall design. The bedroom wing is flexible and open, with gentle transitions between spaces creating an easy and relaxed flow throughout the home.
