The Architect was an integral part of a small, community-led project to reinvigorate an area of a school playground. The application of much thought, and the use of standard landscaping materials and planting, have created a beautiful assemblage which achieves the right balance of risk and safety, movement and stillness, and prescriptive and free play. And all this with a very small budget. The children love this enjoyable space – the project is a great success.
