This project brings a bit of Time Square to Courtenay Place. In successfully reusing a remnant of Wellington’s past, the Architects of the Taranaki Street Kiosk have provided an architectural marker at the western end of the city’s entertainment precinct and activated the surrounding space. This building invigorates the earlier project that created West Courtenay Plaza; the detailing of the new addition acknowledges the textures and materials of the host building.
