2019 Wellington Architecture Awards Winner
Naenae Regional Bowling Club
Sunhats off to the Hutt Council who, on this project, doubled down on falling rolls to create a super-club encompassing bowls, community facilities, and a hard-working RSA, all under a splendid new tensile fabric roof. While the oversailing cap is the major new architectural facility and an engineering tour de force, the real achievement is the building of strong community spirit and earthy delight amongst the greens of Naenae.
