Haunui House
Not many sites are as exposed as this, but those willing to take the risk in Wellington are often rewarded, as they are here, by stunning views and all-day sun. In addition to capturing views from virtually every corner of the house, the architect has given the owner warmth and protection in a simple but elegant shed. The flexible plan accommodates the owner’s enjoyment of entertaining. Elegant detailing and a rich materials palette express the craft with which this building has been created.
