This building’s intention, successfully realised, is to show prestige automobiles to best effect. Planning is meticulous and sophisticated, the exposed steel and concrete beams and concrete trusses evoke the modern industrial genesis of automobiles, and sleek surfaces complement the cars’ sculptural forms. The office fit-outs are highly polished, with a disciplined colour palette, sympathetic lighting, and well-integrated services. Detailing is refined, and consistent with an understated design that admirably serves the building’s purpose.
