Clark Residence
Taking to heart the client’s ambitions to save as many existing native trees as possible, seamlessly integrate with the landscape and leave a smaller carbon footprint, the architects embarked on a range of careful studies and analysis that led to the implementation of passive house principles. The result is a well-planned house that sits under a raked ceiling, with the main living and kitchen space providing a great sense of volume within the compact floor area. Well-executed, compact, and energy efficient – there is much to like about this house built on a small rear site.
