Taking a cue from the remnants of a previous holiday house, this encampment of three delightfully articulated pavilions has been deftly inserted on the bush-edge contours of sheltered grassed area. The orientation and façade modulation draw in the best vistas of nearby coastal inlets and a century-old kānuka grove, while also providing excellent natural light and shade, while the architecture is expressed confidently and consistently through beautifully detailed timber.
