This rural home is a celebration of family life and talks to the architect’s intensely personal approach to design, his humility and a deep understanding of the client’s requirements. The external envelope of bespoke anodised aluminium panels sheaths a truly unique form that is at once completely foreign and completely at ease with its rural location. Defined by a series of beautiful collisions of contrasting materials, spatial dynamics and the play of light and colour, this project talks to the pursuit of exceptional innovation and the delivery of beguiling authenticity.
