The panel had reservations about the scale and siting of the house in relation to it's neighbours, but it has successfully addressed issues of privacy from within the building to create well-lit spaces with spectacular views. The flawless detailing and spatial configurations combine with some spaces which seem to 'swallow you up'. The natural materials are deliberately restrained as a complement to the view. This is a most impressive house, beautifully executed.
