Exactly 25 years after its inauguration, the Michael Fowler Centre has weathered storms over its siting and parallels with its southern counterpart to become one of Wellington�s most respected buildings, both inside and out, as well as New Zealand�s best concert hall. The clarity of structural componentry, quality detailing of the external envelope, and sheer magnificence of the internal spaces leave no doubt that this is a masterful building by a master craftsperson.
