Te Ara a Tāwhaki is a welcome second major building for this Otaki-based Wānanga, weaving mauri ora into the learning experience through careful placement of major spaces and the bold featuring of the superb quality carvings of Te Whetu Marama o te Ata Kereama. Three baskets of knowledge are gathered here in a subtle yet convincing display of modern learning pedagogy meeting traditional design.
