Like a palimpsest, traces of the old can be seen within this exceptional Ilam Campus building. Following significant earthquake damage, the former Commerce Building was stripped back to its structural frame, repaired and strengthened. Re-clad with warm terracotta tiles, and with deep-punched windows, a lofty light-filled atrium and a bold mix of materials, colours and textures, Rehua provides a generous and vibrant backdrop to academic life.
