Join us for a lunchtime presentation with Dr Mark Jones LFRAIA, a highly regarded Australian architect as he explores the ideas behind his new book, Success in Architectural Practice, and discusses what it takes to build a successful and sustainable architectural practice.
Drawing on decades of experience in architectural practice, leadership and academia, Mark presents a practical framework for success built around three interconnected principles: excellence, happiness and profit. Informed by his own career, management research and conversations with more than 40 respected architects from across Australia and New Zealand, Mark offers valuable insights for architects at every stage of their professional journey.
During the presentation, Mark will share key findings from his research, with a particular focus on the financial aspects of running a successful practice. His book explores four key themes-Foundations, Positioning, Finances and Management-providing practical guidance for architects looking to strengthen both their practice and professional fulfilment.
