Selected Project

Rice Craig

The desire to project a contemporary, professional image governed the interior design brief for law firm Rice Craig's new office in Papakura. The solution involved the stripping out a typical 1970's commercial office building to create a modern workplace environment. The result is simple, effective, and delivers an environment which clearly projects their values and culture to clients and wider community. The reception is transformed through the use of light, colour and materials to provide a welcoming environment. The Fatu Feu'u painting above reception is a reminder of the pride of those who live and work in South Auckland. Views from reception lead toward a new exposed concrete stair and up to the new mezzanine floor accommodating the Practice's Boardroom. Offices are arrange around the perimeter in a simple loop, with meeting and common areas located centrally, accessible to all. Change has been great for business and staff morale, who are now proud and excited by their new working environment.
