Rainbow Point Renovation
This carefully planned renovation enhances the inherent qualities of this late 1960s home. By significantly improving circulation between the kitchen, dining, and living areas, it preserves the original design while providing enhanced amenities and the opportunity to upgrade insulation, glazing and thermal performance, thereby improving overall comfort and efficiency. Replacing an existing sunroom addition with a new structure has allowed for the creation of a seamless connection back to the living spaces, further enhancing the northern aspect and lake views. The reinstatement of the pergola framework strengthens the home’s architectural rhythm and reinforces the connection to the landscape. The selection of materials ensures that the renovation remains timeless and well-suited to its prominent location.
