Driven by the clients’ desire for a building with low embodied carbon, Irving Smith Architects have crafted a refined alternative to the vertical office block. By removing the concrete slab and minimising structural steel, this building takes a huge stride in addressing our climate emergency. More of us need to be taking the necessary steps to measure the carbon in our buildings we build. This vision extends beyond the building itself, fostering future-proof infrastructure that will inspire future generations to embrace low-carbon operations.
