2025 Waikato/Bay of Plenty Architecture Awards Winner
Fonterra - Southbloc fitout
This fitout seeks to activate the workplace with Fonterra’s philosophy and culture in an integrated way. It has an entrance space that encourages engagement with Fonterra’s story, expanding further into different palettes, motifs and manifestations throughout. These speak to defining and inspirational aspects of the rohe found within the Waikato region. The fitout has all the conventional spaces that a modern office requires but also thoughtfully disrupts the usual rhythms of similarly aligned workstations with different orientations, breakout spaces and booths. The project also had a conscious mandate of not expressing overindulgence by reusing previous furnishings and utilising leading-edge recycled materials in the spirit of innovation.
