This clever urban intervention on a sloping Mount Cook section takes full advantage of the topography, creating visual intrigue while seamlessly concealing a five-story residential block among the neighbouring villas. The design transforms the lives of residents and enriches the surrounding neighbourhood, establishing a generous public link through the block that welcomes the community via thoughtful landscaping and well-positioned shared amenity areas. Subtle red accents, integrated into the architecture, nod to the site’s history as a brickworks, guiding visitors through the space. At its heart, a well-positioned community space fosters connection and creates a strong sense of place.
