Kahu + Jacinda Home
Designed to reflect the minimalist-modern lifestyle of its owners, this home embraces simplicity, efficiency, and intentionality. The project was inspired by their straightforward yet thoughtful approach to living, with minimal storage and spatial demands guiding the design process. Stripped of excess decoration, the structure embodies purposeful elegance, focusing on functionality without compromising style. Rooted in Passive House principles, the home achieves energy efficiency, avoids overheating, and ensures excellent air quality while fostering a strong connection to the site. Both the form and materials were kept intentionally simple, reinforcing the minimalist aesthetic while supporting high performance. This design captures the essence of true minimalism, offering a practical yet beautiful space deeply aligned with the clients’ values and way of life.
