Millar House
Sited within a rural context, this home for a retired couple was built on a relatively modest budget. The plan delivers an inviting sequence, from the elegant glazed entry hall through to a splendid living space, with more intimate indoor spaces to follow. The form of the house is that of an �elegant shed�, enlivened by a controlled palette of materials, unifying colour and articulate detailing. This project offers an assured, refreshingly unpretentious alternative to the average Kiwi builder�s box.
