As our national workload grows, we’re looking for a talented Architectural Designer/Graduate to join our friendly, high-performing team based in Christchurch.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading residential projects from concept to consent – including high-end custom homes and standard plan developments
Meeting directly with clients to understand their vision and deliver exceptional design outcomes
Producing detailed documentation using ArchiCAD, including plans, reports, and building consent submissions
Liaising with councils, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance and coordination
Providing hands-on input across all phases – from site visits to spatial planning and construction support
What We’re Looking For:
A tertiary qualification in Architecture or related field
5+ years’ experience in New Zealand residential design
Strong working knowledge of NZ Building Code, NZS 3604, and ideally Auckland, CODC, QLDC and CCC Council’s regulations
Proficiency in ArchiCAD, with a portfolio showcasing detailed residential design work
Excellent communication, time management, and client-facing skills
LBP Design Licence, NZRAB or ADNZ Membership (preferred, not essential)
