BOON is looking for an experienced Architectural Graduate to join our New Plymouth based studio.The person we are seeking is a motivated design thinker with technical skills, construction knowledge, and a passion to succeed in a collaborative design studio. We have several exciting projects across Aotearoa. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build upon your experience, develop professional relationships, and progress your career in a fast- moving work environment.
You will be responsible for:
• Working together with assigned project delivery teams and external consultants from initial project establishment to developed and detailed design documentation and delivery
• Using design software and technology to solve complex design challenges
• Preparation of documentation, drawings, schedules, specifications and building consent applications
• Construction observation
To be considered for the role you will have:
• Relevant tertiary qualification and 4 years of industry experience within New Zealand
• Great communication skills
• Revit experience
• Strong initiative and confidence in problem solving
• Experience with NZ Building codes and standards
