Jackson Architects is a New Plymouth–based practice delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and community projects across Taranaki and beyond. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Architectural Technician to join our growing team.About the role:
We are seeking someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in New Zealand who can bring strong technical skills and contribute to the delivery of a wide range of projects. You will work closely with our architects and clients to develop detailed documentation and support projects through all stages of design and construction.
What we’re looking for:
• NZ Diploma in Architectural Technology (Level 6)
• Minimum 3 years’ NZ-based experience in an architectural technician role.
• Proficiency in Revit (essential).
• Solid knowledge of NZ building codes, standards, and consent processes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
