ABOUT THE ROLE:
To support a busy project pipeline, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our team full-time on a 12-month fixed-term parental leave contract. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of architectural design and technical elements who takes initiative, works independently, and consistently seeks innovative ways to deliver results. The Senior Architect collaborates closely with our directors, leads our technical team, and engages with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery across all phases of a diverse range of projects.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have a strong passion for architecture and proven ability to deliver well-considered design solutions in a range of typologies, including multi-residential, commercial and community projects.
- You are proactive, self-directed, and bring a solutions-focused mindset to lead and collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver projects from creation to completion.
- You are confident with the preparation of contract drawings, specifications and supporting documents and have excellent working knowledge of NZBC and industry standards for both residential and commercial projects.
- You have outstanding communication and time management skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants and stakeholders.
- You are proficient in ArchiCAD, BIM, Lumion, Photoshop/InDesign and Microsoft Office suite.
- NZRAB registration preferred and 10+ years working in the NZ construction industry.
