The shortlisted projects were selected from entries in the awards programme of the Auckland branch of Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects.

The shortlist was compiled by a jury led by Aaron Paterson (Pac Studio) and rounded out by Ben Mitchell-Anyon (Patchwork Architecture), Maggie Carroll (Bureaux), Christina van Bohemen (Sills van Bohemen Architects) and lay juror Dr Karamia Mϋller.

The winners will be announced on 26 May 2021.
