Venice 2014: Last, Loneliest, Loveliest

Established in 1980, the Venice Architecture Biennale has become the world’s foremost architecture event – the Olympics of architecture.

New Zealand’s first national pavilion appeared in the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale, titled ‘Last, Loneliest, Loveliest’. Supported by the NZIA, David Mitchell was chosen as creative director after a rigorous selection process.
