Russell Street
Stretched across the top of the site, this linear three-bedroom house is designed to meet the owner’s specific needs while taking full advantage of the qualities provided by the elevated tree lined site looking over Picton Harbour. The house has been carefully inserted behind a veil of mature oak trees that provide privacy, wind and solar protection while allowing views through. The owners civil contracting expertise has been utilised to gain cost efficiencies with building on this steeply sloping site, economy is also gained via the commitment to a singular rectangular footprint & roof form. Given the desirable northern aspect, careful consideration has been given to balancing the solar conditions experienced throughout the seasons.
