Acacia Bay Gables

Nestled at the end of a winding road along the Acacia Bay coves, this Taupō family home sits proudly atop a long, steep driveway. A composition of clustered gabled forms defines the house, creating inviting spaces both indoors and out. Designed to stand the test of time, this home serves as a permanent and enduring retreat. Oriented towards the volcanic landscape of Mount Tauhara and Lake Taupō, the design draws inspiration from its surroundings. Deep black concrete monoliths anchor the architecture, while timber and volcanic stone accents provide warmth, and echo the natural terrain.
