The Point Apartments
The Viaduct Basin in Auckland, reinvented from its days of industrial usage, is now home to the America's Cup. This opportunity has enabled an important part of Auckland's waterfront to be accessible to all, with promenades, cafes, restaurants, retail, boats, maritime museum, hotels, and apartments. The Point apartments occupy a key site fronting onto Waitemata Square and the Lighter Basin. The design provides 85 apartments of various sizes and types over five levels, respecting and developing the Auckland City Council's planning and environment guidelines. Every apartment has a generous deck, to take advantage of Auckland's climate and planning and design has been carefully tailored to the needs of a variety of apartment dwellers
